Chemical Dependency Counseling jobs are easy to get if you are a former addict. Unless you are in private practice, you will make more money in Hospitality Management. If you want a hands on experience trying both, call a few places in each industry and ask to job shadow. Who knows? it might end up being a good contact later on when you are looking for a job.

Are you any good at copywriting? If you can prove your skills to a magazine or website there is a possibility of getting a copywriting job without specific qualifications, and your typing skills will come in handy. I used to freelance copywrite for a while and it is simple enough, but you do have to be able to BS quite well, as it's mainly writing gushing articles about products and services you couldn't care less about. I've written about everything from hot stone massage (great - got a free massage thrown in) to hardware and home improvement equipment: "Shop black door knobs today and you are sure to love the look of your rejuvenated kitchen without spending a fortune!" Basically, it's bigging up mediocre products in sales speak. If you wanted to get some practise in, try writing some articles for Midwest Internet on Amazon's Mechanical Turk website, but you'll have to pass a qualification test for them.

You can easily improve on your typing ability. You should consider taking a few typing courses to get your typing ability more error free. Until I took some of the office administration courses that I took, I had good typing speed, but found myself with a very low typing speed due to the errors that I was making. There are a lot of typing programs out there like Mavis Beacon, and some other programs like that which will help you to make your typing ability stronger.

A good job for you with the typing speed that you have is something like a transcriptionist, and you can also do that at home, and also make some fairly good money at. Hopefully this helps you.

With regard to the careers that you'd mentioned:

Vet tech is usually an associate (two-year) program. (The vet tech may need to do calculations though so that accuracy is of the utmost importance.)

Personal trainer may get certification but some jobs may prefer those with a bachelor's (four-year) degree.

A zoologist usually has a doctoral (Ph.D.) degree.

An event planner may have more luck in the field if having a bachelor's degree in hospitality administration (used to be referred to as hotel/motel management), or marketing or management.

Most licensed psychologists have a doctorate (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in order to possibly get a job.

A counselor usually has at least a master's degree.

For general career info: http://www.bls.gov/oco and can search.

With regard to schooling, please avoid those private overly priced For-profit schools and instead consider the local community college or public/state university as long as the program is accredited within the industry.

These consumer sites have negative posts by former students about those private $ $ for-profit schools, and please heed the students' warnings:

- http://www.complaintsboard.com and can search.

For U.S. colleges: http://www.utexas.edu/world/univ

** Just fyi that if you're in danger of losing your home (and cars), I would downsize right away before it can get to that point! How about instead getting an apartment until getting on your feet.

Well Java and C# are quite similar... and .Net uses C# so you can't really go wrong with either one or both.

You really need to take a series of Tae-Kwon-Do classes to get your confidence back. Not only will you be surrounded by people who give you respect, you will make friends in the process! You should also do some volunteer work at a local hospital and find more important things to keep you r mind busy and alive. There ARE People who Need You, just put yourself Out there! Marriage is a long way off. 30/35 years old...Forget about immature girls, there's a woman in your future. Stop worrying about every little thing, and just be yourself.

It probably is no help at all that most people are unhappy at some point in their lives. Why not try something like yoga? It helps calm you down. You're under a lot of stress.
Don't take sport too personally. Your teams are full of men who love sport for its sake, and too get depressed by their poor performance. If you want entertainment, go and watch a movie.
You do take life too seriously - learn to pause and find the good things in your life. Girls - well, they will come sooner or later. Don't give up on girls because that will make you anti social. You are picky - you go out with girls who you like - and you don't look twice at other girls who might suit you better.
Most girls are as scared of the future as you are. That might come as a surprise but really, we all are on this planet and life seems overwhelming.
Have you ever thought that you might be more suited to a blue collar job? Like being an electrician?
You sound like a nice man - your parents must be proud of you.
I don't think that suicide is your only alternative - I think you need to look at your life and make some changes. And start to count your blessings.
You concentrate on the negatives - start counting the positives or the "blessings". Let's see, from your post you have friends, are attractive enough for girlfriends, have supportive parents who brought you up well, you don't abuse people - its clear that people do like you.
It will all work out in the long run. I'm sure of it.
