Choosing A Career

One of the biggest decisions you will probably make in your lifetime is choosing a career. It’s not something you just wake up one day and say, “I think I want to do this for a living.” Choosing a career is culmination of dreams, talents, and abilities. It’s something that should be given a lot of thought and consideration.

How do you go about choosing a career? For some people, it’s a breeze but they are few and far between. It’s a childhood dream that has never really gone away. Others, however in fact most of us, are lost when it comes to figuring out what they want to do when they “grow up”. There are lost souls everywhere who toil away at jobs they work at just because they need to bring in a paycheck. In fact, it is conservatively estimated that about 70% of all workers do not like what they do and are working because they need a paycheck. For some people, this is fine with them and they make a career out of what they have to do not what they necessarily want to do. Again, in reality, it is NOT fine with them, most folks think they are supposed to be miserable in work.
